You can add your first Room Type and corresponding individual rooms using the dedicated options in the admin panel sidebar navigation.
The tenant creation and activation process is quick and simple, taking less than 10 minutes. The time to load data (rooms, prices, etc.) depends on the amount of information your hotel needs to enter.
VectorBooking uses a subscription-based model (monthly or annual). We do NOT charge commission fees on bookings. All revenue from reservations belongs entirely to your hotel.
Initially, there are no different subscription tiers. All core system features are included in the standard subscription. We plan to offer additional modules (add-ons) with extra cost for advanced features.
No. The subscription plan does not impose limits based on the number of rooms, monthly bookings, or any other usage metric. You have unlimited capacity.
Vector Costa Rica assumes all hosting and infrastructure costs (servers, network). There are no variable costs for storage or bandwidth for your hotel.
Once the payment gateway is implemented, each hotel (tenant) will be responsible for directly assuming the fees and commissions from the bank or payment gateway processor.
Each hotel has its own separate database. When you access the system via your subdomain (e.g., yourhotel.vectorbooking.com), the middleware identifies your hotel and connects exclusively to your database. This ensures complete data isolation between hotels.
No. Administrators from other hotels cannot see your private or sensitive information. Database isolation completely prevents access to internal data. They can only see public-facing information (like room search results) that any guest would see.
If you have multiple properties (Hotel A, Hotel B, Hotel C), you need to create a separate tenant for each property. This ensures optimal data isolation and resource management.
Data is physically stored in a DigitalOcean droplet configured in SFO (San Francisco). Each hotel's database is completely separate and encrypted.
VectorBooking is designed to be scalable and suitable for any hotel size, from boutique properties (5-20 rooms) to large hotels (150+ rooms).
Yes! You can customize your logo, hotel name, tagline, banner image, complete color scheme (primary, secondary, accent, background, text), and card background modes. The system includes contrast validation to ensure accessibility.
Yes. VectorBooking includes iCal integration for bidirectional synchronization with external calendars and OTAs. This allows you to sync availability and bookings with platforms like Booking.com, Airbnb, and others.
Yes. Guests can search for availability, view room types, see prices with dynamic pricing rules applied, and complete bookings online through your public-facing website.
VectorBooking includes a comprehensive dynamic pricing system. You can create pricing rules based on seasons, days of the week, stay duration, room types, and more. Prices can be modified as fixed amounts or percentages.
Yes. You can create promotional packages that combine accommodation with additional services (spa, breakfast, tours) at special prices. Promotions can be percentage or fixed-amount discounts.
Yes, you can make reservations for the same night. Currently, there is no minimum advance time configured in the system.
The minimum required information is the guest's First Name, Last Name, and Email Address.
Yes. Administrators can modify almost all booking fields. If you modify dates, the system will recalculate the price applying the current Pricing Rules for the new date range.
The system tracks booking sources as: Direct Web, Phone, Walk-in, and OTA/iCal. You can view revenue metrics segmented by booking source.
The system automatically checks availability in real-time. When a booking is confirmed, the room is immediately blocked. The system uses automatic room assignment based on Room Type availability, preventing accidental overbooking.

Once the base application is complete, updates will be focused when new add-ons are developed or critical stability improvements are needed. Hotels will be notified proactively before major updates.
